Frank Johnstone has practiced law since 1977. His current practice includes business law, bankruptcy (creditors) and general business litigation. Mr. Johnstone is AV-rated in Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating awarded by this most widely used directory of lawyers.
Johnstone has served as director or officer of local civic organizations, including the Kingsport Center of Opportunity, the Greater Kingsport Division of the American Heart Association, the Symphony of the Mountains, Rascals Teen Center and the Literacy Council of Kingsport. He is a Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow. Johnstone volunteered as an educational counselor for MIT for over twenty years. He has served as Chairman of the first district committee for the Tennessee Board of Law Examiners. He served as a member of the Tennessee Bar Association’s Board of Governors for six years and as chairman of its operations committee for two years.
